Shows your ignorance. I don't look down on people with dirty/necessary jobs like some kind of pretentious knowitall. All these leftists pretend to care for workers rights and pay but don't actually. I think you have no clue on hard work or business. Remind us again what is it you do again?
Blue collar labor is as rewarding a labor-type as white-collar. I have always enjoyed this comparison because to me, it really does come down to a matter of preference and "what you want to be when you grow up" so-to-speak.
I myself like writing code, figuring out those kinds of puzzles, and doing business analyst work. It's what I decided to want for my career. There plumbers and dealership Class A Auto Techs making a lot more than me, too. My step dad's best friend (who, too, always treated me like another one of his sons growing up) is 100% blue collar and over the years has built himself quite the successful construction company. The house he built for him family and in-laws (mother/daughter style house) - simply amazing.
I also have friends that must work with their hands and can't sit behind a desk. We all share pretty much the same qualities of life.
The common theme? We all took advantage of the opportunities capitalism offered and make good livings doing as close to what we enjoy as possible. I think that's a total win
