Absolute masterpiece of a film. The visuals, the score.... stunning all around. I did not want it to end. Epic. 9/10 almost a perfect film. I have been following this film for so long, wanting and waiting and now I have to do it all over again for part 2.

Note: I have never seen the original movie, series, or read the books. So my opinions are only based off this current film.

I thought it was terrible 0/10 and I watched the original many times.

no its a remake forget the old 1s they suck ass its so cringe to rewatch it


they captured the vibe of dune way better on this film and the baron is 100 times better

what visuals?

the cheap bastards saved money on the harkonnen "invasion", by the shown scenes it looks like atreides manpower is like 50 people

the demonstration of the scale of supposed "galactic" empires great houses was non existant

no defenses in planets orbit? LAWL

its obvious they were on a budget for the off chance it loses money and they wont get to make a second film, since its undecided wether or not it will be made

true it could've been better in that aspect but like u said the budget

165m budget for a movie this long with this many A listed actors i think they did an amazing job for the budget they were given

if they were given a marvel like budget this movie could've been 1 for the ages

jaysus, 165 million .... and they didnt manage to produce a few scenes where couple of those atreides flying refigerators stay in orbit and get blown up there

wondering where they spent money on....
