have you regained full mobility? when you're doing sports are you 'walking on eggshells' that you don't tweak your knee?

torn achilles tendon's are rough. I tore mine 6 years ago and can still feel the difference some days. Luckily, my profession and employer has provided me a lot of leeway in terms of rehab and continued work so that I can keep doing what I need/ want to do. The best thing I've done so far is a lot of hip mobility and strengthening work

short term disability lapsed. no long term til 12 months weird... applied for unemployment. doctors say i can go back to work in decembet
also it feels super fucking strong all of a sudden. i do all the rehab the docs give me and sometimes i turn that foot into a limping mass of jelly. but after the last time it felt that way over the weekend it feels almost like a normal
foot again!
like this workout i did yesterday wouldve turned my foot to mush last week:

30 min stairstepper
5x15 seated calf raises no weight added lol sad
5x15 tibialis curls my gym has all the machines lol
10 min row machine

about to go do some farmers walks suitcase carries and goblet squats with some stationary cycling

feeling very sturdy. can almost do a one-legged standing calf raise on it. can do 100 flights of stairs in 30 minutes. can push off the ball of foot no problem. still a giant cankle though, especially compared to the healthy foot.
doctors again want me to wait longer to go back to work. maybe january they say.
workers comp delayed, put under review. how do people that get this surgery survive on half their income for six months? Now i have zero income. There's a magic period between short term and long term disability. short term is 6 months max, long term is at least 12 months.

this morning they had me do restrictive blood flow therapy. Basically did some calf raises with a blood pressure cuff around my thigh. supposed to be real good for building muscle without over stressing the tendon.
