From my understanding our site does not have any advertising, but you can readily find us across the webs and certain nostalgic games. It seems like the lack of high quality and integrated search within our site has contributed to the rise in our popularity on search engines. I think the lack of high quality search engine on our site has also contributed to the assemble a lifetime community here, IE the foundation of guides, rules, principles, a more.

While I agree with the idea that ease of use should be broad and for a variety of out members here, I still feel uncomfortable about improving the current search features due to the possible long term draw backs of it.

It also seems that our members are able to find the information they are looking for, and sometimes it does take tools outside of our site. In my opinion, the best way to improve a Search and Possible Find function that would best benefit the site is to enable such trade and services via members and tools, and not necessary just a site feature upgrade. This could help build a foundation for those looking or interested in using forum gold for a rather large project, that may require an extensive amount of research, finding, and more.

At that being said, voting Yes here in the idea of more is better.

There is a guide floating around our forums written up by a Trusted user. It tells you and gives examples of how to search for things on our site. I am not sure how up to date it is with current search engine algorithms.

Speaking of search engine algorithms, changes in our site or having additional games added could make the complexity of searching forevermore.

While I still agree having more Search or Find options a thing, I also find it interesting that you paid into looking for those results. That makes me believe that a more advanced and streamlined version of Search/Find could be created here and could cost more forum gold for it.

I can kind of see it almost like a Customer or Verified Members perk, and our site would in part yield results from other search engines, much like how we are able to upload pictures and videos here now or possibly in the future.
