they dont show the lightning that worries me a bit but they show the blizzard change and they made the mobs more blue from frozen/chill effects which is a huge complaint people had
id like to see the frozen orb if they change that or not cause i thought it was ugly as f and that was also a pretty big complaint
but these are good changes and promising for the game so far what they have shown

yeah iirc that was the alpha they should have a beta before release too
hoping it will be an online beta to stress test the servers and that i get in being i preordered during the first beta ^^

Forgot to mention - probably the most important thing out of that entire update:

Each character gets their own stash tab and then there are 3 shared tabs for your account.

So 11 stash tabs total per account, and I imagine it's going to be 1 account per CD Key unlike the original where you can just make as many as you want.

I know some hoarders aren't going to like this but I think it's the right way to go.

Space should be considered a limited resource. And let's face it, most hoarders just forget about 99% of the stuff they have stashed away and then it eventually expires.

This way you'll eventually have to trade your shit or give it away or whatever.

what are you talking about key? they are using battle.net your game will be linked to your bnet account
going to be set up exactly the same as d3 wow and every other blizzard game made in the past like 10 years
and in wow i believe you can create multiple accs under your singular acc and sub them all so it might have a feature like that but in reality its likely one account with set # of character slots then you MTX more

Yeah I meant account, not CD Key. Had original D2 in my head lol.

And yeah I guess it's possible they'll give us 8 to start and then you can buy more, which I imagine lots of people will.

Same goes for additional stash tabs like in D3.

Yeah, theres no key. Though im not sure they will let you make more accounts in d2r. They let you do it in wow cuz you gotta pay them $15 sub to use it. Its blizzard, they dont do cool stuff like that for us for free. It'll probably be some microtransaction for $5 that goves you an extra character slot.

MTX=micro transaction i never implied it would be free
and they might let you do multiple accs you probably just gotta purchase the game for both since there is no sub but i think they do 1 acc and MTX the crap out of extra shit



yeah from what ive seen in wow its no longer a bunch of 10-15 year olds its like 25+ year olds with full time jobs and money to spend to save time or just ease of access sorta deal
its likely the same shit with d2 hell people have been buying fg for years already lol i think anything they add as mtx is going to be easy money
i just hope they dont add too much character slots & stash tabs and stuff sure anything beyond that could be game breaking if they start getting into transmogs or something

Rumor that the release has been pushed back has been shot down. Beta to come soon.

Also rumored release for D4 based on latest earnings call is early 2023. Also word that Blizzard is shifting "significant resources" over to D4, focusing on the long-term replayability of the game. Given Blizzard's track record as of late, I'll believe it when I see it.

not sure if you are aware of the sexual harassmentl awsuit right now and the walkout thats occuring

they dont have significant resources as they are currently standing outside their workplace in a walk out
d2r was probably done months ago i dont think it would be pushed back could be wrong but yeah idk feel like thats not that big of a project
and blizz might have to put all their bolts in the d4 bucket cause it seems like wow is going down the drain with this lawsuit many people are quitting and content creators are saying fuck blizzard and wow
d4 might be the only thing that holds them down if wow goes in the shitter
