Wrong and extremely poor taken.
There is no way the Pelicans could have two all-stars not even being apart of the play-in bracket. This is the all-star game but history has still gave the nod to winning over losing.(Unless you're luka doncic.)
BI wasnt an all-star last year and he isn't this year putting up basically identical numbers.
Booker should've been in over CP3. It's not close.
How is it not even close?
CP3:16.6 PPG
8.5 AST
4.5 REB
1.3 STL
2.3 TOV
48.5% FG
40.0% 3PT
97.2% FT
Booker:24.7 PPG
4.3 AST
3.8 REB
0.8 STL
3.5 TOV
50.1% FG
38.1% 3PT
84.8% FT
Real Plus-MinusCP3: 2.95
Booker: 0.92
Booker is deserving no doubt, but CP3 gets the nod over him. He has been better all-around, scoring at an efficient rate while being top 5 in the league in assists per game, with twice as many assists as Booker yet far fewer turnovers too.
CP3's 8.5 assists to just 2.3 turnovers per game is crazy good. Everyone else in the top 5 in assists all average 4+ turnovers per game.
I'm happy to see the coaches understand and put emphasis on all areas of the game of basketball, not just the PPG category that casuals love so much.
