Booker is deserving no doubt, but CP3 gets the nod over him. He has been better all-around, scoring at an efficient rate while being top 5 in the league in assists per game, with twice as many assists as Booker yet far fewer turnovers too.

CP3's 8.5 assists to just 2.3 turnovers per game is crazy good. Everyone else in the top 5 in assists all average 4+ turnovers per game.

I'm happy to see the coaches understand and put emphasis on all areas of the game of basketball, not just the PPG category that casuals love so much.

CP3 runs the show in Phoenix. Booker is a better pure scorer, but that's where his advantage ends. CP3 is the more complete player and is proving his worth in Phoenix even at his old age. You don't need need be the leading scorer on a team to be the most valuable player on that team...

People look at PPG and think that's the defining number to decide All-Star. It's a casuals logic. Look at a players entire game and then evaluate, like the coaches did when they made their selections. Simmons got in for the same reason, his OVERALL impact not just shooting the ball.

Also, the RPM advantage is so large its ridiculous. Booker's RPM is shit lmao.

He is good. Luka is just younger, more marketable, and better.

Lillard is still very good.
