If I'm level 88 and I use item lvl 88 or higher amulets (a moderate percent of all gambled amulets, and some I get as drops), can I still roll all the affixes that I'd want? :o

You need level 90 to be able to roll +2 skills. I think the formula is (char level + item level) / 2, rounded down. Since gambling amulets is -5 to +4 levels you need 93 to be able to craft with all of them cause lowest will be (93 + 88) / 2 = 90.5 = 90. Since you can see item levels you can just pick ilvl 92+ and use them. (88 + 92) / 2 = 90

First one I did was p8, subsequent p3.
I'm not sure it makes a noticeable difference, at least not on a super easy char like a paladin.
The OW/CB is really the only thing that does any damage - the last 10% of hp takes freakin forever compared to the first 90%

It wasn't ever "hard", but I was using a lot of mana pots to maintain being able tosmite (and thus life steal with lifetap proc) and had full rejuvs for anytime I got hit hard with a crit.
Meph was surprisingly the easiest to take out.
Diablo second hardest because his minions actually hurt even with 84 max res + max block
Baal was hardest because of tendril and mana burn spam and he hits quite hard at times.
