I don't know how that's a good thing... it reveals his shamelessness and lack of remorse, and also his confidence that no evidence would sway Republican senators or his voters.
What should he be ashamed of? He wasn't acquitted because he was really guilty. He was acquitted because it was a false charge. Which is precisely why the Biden DOJ is not going after him based on incitement. He stated flat out that people needed to get out and peacefully protest to fight for their rights. That's not incitement to an insurrection (or erection, if you're Schumer). It's standard political jabber for "Go cheer on politicians and policies you like, jeer and boo at that which you don't like."
Listen, I'll tell you what, if you honestly believe that Trump was guilty of a federal felony, forward the accusation and whatever evidence you have to the DOJ. If convicted, Trump could spend the rest of his life in a Federal Prison. He can't run for office if he's incarcerated, can he? But you don't have any evidence, nobody does.
Thus, shame isn't a factor. The fact that he stuck the lawyers with doing what lawyers do and simply went about enjoying his "retirement" is a "Well done" moment. The fact that Acosta ever reported it is more of a slap in the face of Dems, not a statement about Trump.
