can i just take any weapon or does rogue have higher damage with certain weapons?

like if i have a 150% enhanced effect dagger, will that be better than 151% club or staff? When it comes to
dps? And if there is a difference, how high need the difference to be to even out dps wise?

depends on the weapon

going full dex means you'll do significantly higher damage with daggers/staffs.

so in general rogues go full dex and usually use staffs as weapons as they are SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than daggers, a 100ee level 55 staff will probably set you back 100-150, whilst a 100ee dagger is more like 250-350
This is because more classes can use daggers

Basically what Bigheaded suggested. The simple answer is that Rogue has more Dexterity, so it is better just to use Daggers, Staff and Axes if you have +Str gear instead of dex (i.e. 20 str armor / 26 str charm) and just add points to dex.
