id like to point out that this rig has the top bench mark in the world on userbenchmarks for a i5-2500 cpu and amd rx 460 gpu out of like 70 total users.

Decent for 2010/10 on the original

Decent for 2016/10 on the rebuild.


But for real, cool to keep some usable hardware out of the landfill.

You should check and see if the motherboard bios allows for BLCK overcloxkong and try squeezing a few % out of it.

ty I'm afraid to mess with the bios too much as there are a few updates for it but I don't want to brick the mobo.
overclocking the processor I may look more into but I don't recall seeing that option in the bios. I actually was going to buy a i7 3770k for it and maybe try to get a better gpu like a 1070 or something but it would require updating the bios which im afraid to do.
