ty I'm afraid to mess with the bios too much as there are a few updates for it but I don't want to brick the mobo.
overclocking the processor I may look more into but I don't recall seeing that option in the bios. I actually was going to buy a i7 3770k for it and maybe try to get a better gpu like a 1070 or something but it would require updating the bios which im afraid to do.

funny going from i5 2500 to i7 2600k only gave me about a 3% performance boost

last step will be to overclock the processor and put a better cpu cooler in.
