If the administration of this site didn't take scams seriously, I would be just as critical of it. However, not only am I aware of how seriously they take scams, but I was fortunate enough to be apart of it. That's ignoring the fact that an event like that hasn't happened in over a decade.
No system is perfectly protected from rogue actors, however, those in charge of pd2 specifically chose not to discuss anything, instead choosing to standby said actions.
It's sad to see people take advantage of a situation like this for their own profit. As I said, I completely understand people wanting to prevent "rwt" (cross trading, outside trading, etc, etc). Baiting and scamming people isn't exactly something that is hard to "judge".
Made worse by the fact that the individual tried to hide things once community was catching on, and then all of the censoring, banning, etc, that took place afterwards from individuals discussing and criticizing.
It's just sad. So much potential significantly damaged because of poor decision making.
