I'm just glad we got a real Jew for Treasury Secretary instead of Pocahontas.
Omg what a shitshow that would have been. Her and Biden would have butted heads all the time. Yellen should be a solid pick.
I gotta say that Mnuchin was the best member of Trump's cabinet. Competent and efficient, did his job without creating controversies or stirring shit up.

https://twitter.com/NBCPolitics/status/1330925678758334468NEW: President-elect Biden announces key picks for his foreign policy team:
• Sec of State: Antony Blinken
• Homeland Security Sec: Alejandro Mayorkas
• DNI: Avril Haines
• US Amb to UN: Linda Thomas-Greenfield
• NSA: Jake Sullivan
• Climate Envoy: John Kerry
It's being reported Janet Yellen, former Fed chairman, is going to be selected for Treasury Secretary.
Biden seems to try to surround himself exclusively with loyalists and confidants. Considering the clown bus large parts of the rest of his party currently are, that's a good thing. People who have been a part of Biden's orbit for a long time are unlikely to be unhinged lefties or culture warriors.
Also, the Trump presidency has shown that it's really important to appoint a cabinet which is on the same page with the president, so that the entire administration pulls together instead of backstabbing each other or tripping on each other's feet. I'm obviously not a huge fan of all these Democratic swamp demons, but given the far worse alternatives, I'm fairly happy with these picks. They telegraph that Biden intends to not rock the boat too much and is serious about lowering the temperature; that he really wants to usher in a return to bland and boring politics.
