You're mistaking Trump's ability to dominate the media with directing it.

He is capable of getting attention, but he isn't directing anything. He's grabbing the wheel and swinging it in a random direction to keep it off course, but he isn't steering to any specific place he wants them to go.

They are all pieces of work

Should have just been:

-Financial aid according to 80% your monthly income as judged on 2018 or 2019 taxes for all 3 months
-After businesses don’t have to worry about payroll, PPE to all small and middle sized companies.
-some exceptions/relief for at risk large size companies, AFTER funds allocated to small and mid size companies
-if you fire employee after 1 YEAR, not 3 months, money returned

Instead of corporate bonds, share buy backs and huge tech cash funnel

People wouldn’t have been as anti mask, as anti mitigation, if they weren’t having to dive into their retirement accounts.

5 TRILLION dollars later

No handle on pandemic
No handle on economy

We will all be reading the what went wrong papers in 2025

it helps when you have the media to massage the message in your favor. remember when certain politicians change their mind for political expediency its “evolving” but for other politicians its “flip flopping or pandering”

had a great post above on what should have happened, unfortunately our entire govt apparatus is incapable of passing a spending bill on a specific need. For every $1 spent on something we need stimulus on $2 must be spent on pet projects -_-
