Oh damn, I made a type O ... but yup... I posted theory... but then, as I stated it is a Superstition thread.

It is not about debunking Superstition in LS... shit I have had plenty of them myself, and can agree with a lot of others... like everyone else gets better drops more frequently than I, but then comes the fact that they play "Faster killspeed = more drops = more chances to find better gear"

They are not wrong, even my timezone vs a lot of the current player base means there are less groups for me to join (esp HC).

I can say that LS has increased in player base though... I've seen 70 players online compared to 10 or 20... game is getting more people coming back... that is good... now waiting on this new thing that Paul is going to add to the game that InsaneBobb mentioned in the Events thread when they got a group together on a test site.... can not wait... or am I being superstitious about his post?

Anyway, I want to see some of the "Superstitions" that have come about over the years.

1. Keyorder does not matter. It's a simple roll of a die when you put in a key, either it passes or fails.

2. A "stale game" (up longer than 2 hours) has significantly lower quality mods on drops.


Regarding side drops welling, I range from 6 to 14 when I well tier VII items at level 10, tier XI items at level 20, and tier XIV items at level 40. 1-5 when welling much of anything 55+. I don't know about welling "at your own level". But I do know about welling "up".

My “superstition” is if I find a game with a well I will find MUCH less whites lvl 25 and higher.....whereas games with no wells seem to drop more higher lvl whites. Wonder if others can concur....

Back on topic... can I start a new Superstition?

Okay... this is ONLY for Bufcore players.

Everytime you are either starting or continuing on in a bufcore climb and post this youtube clip in commemoration to Mike (aka Buf), it increases your chances to find usable gear for that character in bufcore.

Wholeheartedly agree with you here ... I mean real life experiences has proven this.

example; I date 3 girls from different schools (intermediate; basically age 11-12) at an inter-school athletics program. I thought great, I have 3 different rendezvous with each on a Friday... woot... all went to plan, then the next weekend, one of the 3 says, hey I want to introduce you to my friends from primary school (5-10 years old)... so I meet up with her, and low and behold... Murphy's Law... her friends are the other two girls I was dating.

Murphy is an optimist, he believed that I would NOT date all 3... he was wrong and his law was proof of it... I got caught out...
