He said Bernie is left of SPD, not that its radical, his point was Bernie would be considered radical than the current accepted system. "Left side".
You should spend a little more time reading a post before you start jamming your face on your keyboard.
maybe take your own advice there: "on the left side of SPD" is what he posted, not "to the left of the SPD" - i'd understand the former as on the left wing of the party, and the latter as to the left of the party. that said, it's a completely moronic and irrelevant point to begin with since left of the SPD is also not considered "VERY radical" or 'eyebrow-raising':
if you, or any other one of my other butthurt fans, so eager to support your poorly constructed 'argument', knew the first thing about german politics, you'd know that 'die linke' (our left wing party) is currently represented in ten of the 16 state parliaments, in three of which as part of the ruling coalition. i also specifically addressed the point he tried to make about policies, something you conveniently did not address while failing to nitpick words in order to ignore the main point.
again, none of that is even remotely as insane to a european as america's current system (healthcare / college / worker protection / environmental policies...). his attempt to paint bernie and AOC as radical, even by european standards thoroughly failed - take it from a european.
