People would store their gear there at a ridiculously high price that no one could afford
and keep it there as long as they wanted without having to pay the fee up front

For example - who in their right mind would even consider buying a lvl 10 fire charm with 100 EE for 25 K fg ??

Would just like a change to newb items (250fg or less or something) so more people can start.

He was replying to me, "wondered why all prices couldn't have the fee taken out on sell." I never knew about that vault like problem.

To prevent abuse to store items on the mp instead of the vault i would like to have 3 "golden" sell spots that ask for fees afterwards. So you could put up a few items at higher prices without risk and still not be able to abuse it as a vault.

He’s not wrong.

There are a lot of items I find that I could list at 250 or less that I just don’t list.

And then I never end up making topics for and then eventually delete.

A lot of people who play casual and solo would most definitely buy the items if I did end up listing them. But these players usually don’t want to be bothered looking at trade topics for these items. Which is 100% understandable .

If we could list them for fee on sale they would most definitely be put on market more often and purchased .

Agree with this. I'd vote yes on poll.

Just restore the market to "If you list it, it lasts the season" like it was before. Hell, I'd be willing to blind list 200ee shit again.

But "hell no" to the suggestion, because paul won't approve, and I don't want random suspensions again.

This is odd to me i started in april with nothing and the marketplace is how i came up and i mean nothing 0fg no items. ive made a solo melee and solo caster 1-71 hunting and flipping. But i will say you will not find many XiV items on mp but you can still build a solid character of mp if you know what you are doing.

edit. Rome wasnt built in a day.

This simple change would make the MP so much more useful. I’d be much more inclined to post mediocre stuff that would help new people if it didn’t drop off the market and have to pay it again

Sure Rome wasn’t built in a day but they never stopped innovating either. Just because something works doesn’t mean there isn’t room for improvement

Any chance there could be a change to items under 250fg or something to have no fees until sold?
Would help newer players buy items / finish some basic sets as people would actually list stuff on market place.

As of now, there's little to none for sale :(
I remember losing desire to play because couldn't finish set since nobody selling. Would help build playerbase

Yes please.
