Sure, why not... I mean even if the minimum was increased to 100 and no fee until sold, that would still be better than 20.

People would store their gear there at a ridiculously high price that no one could afford
and keep it there as long as they wanted without having to pay the fee up front

For example - who in their right mind would even consider buying a lvl 10 fire charm with 100 EE for 25 K fg ??

There is a limit of items you can post on mp.
And if you forget the item on mp, the items can be deleted after some time...

“Some time” = a year from when it expires... if you’re using this method as a storage means to circumvent the vault like he said you wouldn’t be leaving it up there endlessly.

But also you can’t remove an item for 24hrs after listing either so the storage idea is pretty bunk either way

This simple change would make the MP so much more useful. I’d be much more inclined to post mediocre stuff that would help new people if it didn’t drop off the market and have to pay it again

Sure Rome wasn’t built in a day but they never stopped innovating either. Just because something works doesn’t mean there isn’t room for improvement

like i said it wasnt nothing easy to do very frustrating at times

You can buy it back immediately on another char.
This is how items used to be transferred from one char to another before the vault was introduced.

It also raised many complaints about items being swiped

Assuming you can afford to purchase it... Im sorry but I wouldnt exactly feel safe posting my gear for my current max fg total... There are only like 5-6 people rich enough to use the market as a viable option for storing large numbers of items.

The whole theory is impractical at best.

Edit: also you mean before the transfer feature was introduced. The transfer feature predates the vault by a pretty long time...
Edit edit: or do you mean transfer between players not just characters?

20fg is just soooo low, even like 100fg min would benefit the community. Especially since it hasn’t even been a year since auto muting, I would imagine the lower end of mq equitable items drop to the 100 range, like 90ee axe.

They added the insta mute thing but didn’t add a balancing factor, that factor could be increasing market listing min to allow those items to actually hit market.

Market started as you could list an item and it would last until reset. You had limited slots per character, can easily be converted to slots per account. Limit item listings, allow a person to list their gear at the start of the season and have it stay up until reset, end of issue.

I still remember 5 minutes ago when 200+ ee clubs were on the market for a month for like 7K before somebody bought, because it was just a low end weapon usable by few classes that nobody wanted, and the 180ee dagger that was up for 12K was so very much better.

The market, in general, is useless, worthless, and stupid. It was wrecked, and reverting it is all it would take to make the market boom.

Edit: Did not vote in non-existent poll. The idea is stupid. Removing fees up to a higher rate is not an answer that will solve the core issue.

Edit 2: To expand on why it won't solve the issue... I have items that might help resolve lower set issues that I won't list. I'd rather shrine a 109 ee level VII staff than sell it for 19.98fg for instance, so there's that. On the flipside, up the minimum to 249.98. Okay... But what, I drop it on market for a very reasonable price of like 75fg, and a week later, I need to remember that it's there, remove it, or maybe it poofs? Just garbage. I'm not being helped by selling low end garbage. People who think that garbage is an upgrade are helped. Stop penalizing me for being willing to sell things blindly to whoever happens to need it, and I'll start selling shit again. @njaguar, I'm talking to you.

Sure, anything that would help the in-game economy / trading without NEEDING to use the forums is a step in the right direction imo
