even at tier II/III glyphing, using dex/int/heal mastery glyphs helps me solo easier on 71-MQ. It improves your gear temporarily

Sure I'm for it. Because of how strong a success would be we should make the rate of success approximately equal to the chance of muting a 200 ee item :D

No it's not. It makes use of that 55 str sword you have for example. :bonk:

Glyphing will even with this transcribing thing be relevant as you can use any crap item to boost your stats temporarely, but it doesnt make sense to convert a 20strength 35weapon into another item

Well, this is how I look at it: Why would I waste 5+ years to get Glyphing high enough to glyph 55 items when I can waste 5+ years getting Scribing to 55 instead?

Doesn't matter either way. This suggestion won't happen.

Oh look, similar to my old suggestion. Mind you, mine was separated to two(2) different skills.


Extract: Choose only one property from an item (example; 55 Strength from Mystical TierXI Sword)= Creating a Mystical Tier XI Scroll with 55 Strength (Can only be used with any Tier XI White item). Since the Scroll is Mystical and only has 55 Strength, you can extract another mod from another Mystical Tier XI or lower Tier item and add it to the Scroll.

Imbue: Use the "Scroll" and "Imbue" the properties to a White item of the same Tier or Lower (as long as the mods do not exceed the limits... i.e. 100% ee on a Tier IV white item)

EDIT: Null Vote... your suggestion seems to easy. I did have other ideas in my original suggestion regarding the other mods of the items used in the extraction process, not sure if they completely disappeared or you could extract other mods from them to create more scrolls or add to the same scroll.

This was what I was thinking...

Glyphing will always be useful. The new skill would break any motivation to mute though. Just find some fail items and move the stats to something useful.

Anyway, voted no, the game needs another skill just about as much as it needed the guardian class.

I was actually serious in case anyone thought it was a joke. You just have to set the chance to succeed somewhere around 0.01% or so and no matter how overpowered it sounds, it's gonna be balanced. No sweat :)
