Ubiquiti is legit awesome, bought the UAP-AC-HD and I'm thrilled with the results.

I second the Meraki suggestion, I went with 10 X MR 45 is the last business rollout I did and they have been incredibly reliable and easy to manage. Went the POE route which wasn't ideal with their existing cable runs, but once we upgraded their central stack and the runs all was well.

Thanks, I'm open to use cisco hardware, but after trying to sort out the license for Meraki for 1 hour it seemed like a subscription or renewal thing.

That's why only large corporations use Cisco
Ye it's the best
But at a major cost and license fees
That's why literally everyone recommends

The Ubiquiti router is just a router with a basic firewall as opposed to the Meraki which also does intrusion detection and whatnot.
I greatly prefer the way Meraki handles VLAN setup over Ubiquiti. It's an extremely straightforward and easy to understand process
where Ubiquiti does it oddly and unlike others, I've seen. But really once you set that up you'll rarely touch it again so that's not a big deal.

Of course, If you're just looking at access points then Ubiquiti all the way. In terms of functionality vs Cost. If you want to see what both systems look like from a backend scenario, DM me.

Consult with a real home integration company and use a vendor like RTI/Savant/Crestron for the automation component, not consumer garbage like alexa et al. As other suggest, Ubiquiti is a strong option for the networking side of things, but you might also look into mikrotik (for the routers/switches, avoid the access points), ruckus (for APs), SnapAV, Luxul, and others. Typically most systems integrators will settle on a certain network vendor and know it well, so they might have a first choice on what that should be if you go with them.

Cash out some crypto and do the job right and *once*.

Best of luck!
