No what’s on the clip is after they pull the cuffs out and then he starts asking them where to move. On the full broadcast they tell him multiple times to step back. He never acknowledged them and kept rolling.

From 0:00 to atleast :15 he was well away from any action and an arrest happened right by them.

They got swarmed, and he politely asked them where should they move to.

There was no action going on where they were originally standing until that arrest was made. How fast can you react in that situation? Its the same as when the cop told floyd to get up and into the car while still having his knee on his neck.

Says the guy suggesting that the reporter was arrested on the spot cuz black, in the middle of ongoing race riots while authorities have stepped back as far as possible and cameras are rolling everywhere.

i guess you dont understand the whole point that this is not a good look for the police department after a white officer kills a black man.

a black reporter doing nothing wrong (see the video which clearly proves that he was trying to figure out here to go after a protester ran into their group when they were quite a safe distance away from any action). The press have been in war zones and hotter spots than this.

At the end he says he was trying to get out of the intersection. They had already told them on the broadcast to move. He’s between them and protesters. Then some action takes place after and now he’s in danger cause he didn’t listen to the commands. You’re not going to get that from a cnn clip of the event. On the live broadcast you heard it and they never acknowledged and it wasn’t edited out cause it seemed irrelevant at the time. Passes the 5 second window be cut out. Next thing you know the above happens then he’s ready to listen and move but it’s to late. The reporters comments and actions let you know this as well had you see the start of the broadcast. The same camera also keeps rolling an hour while their detained cause they had no idea where the camera is. And you hear then the discussion between the arresting officer and reporter.

the point is, the same police stupidity is consistently recurring. this is not a good look for them while riots are going on.
