Media loves their fear factor, because there is some truth to it they always embellish everything.

it's obvious, usa health care is stupid and expensive. they aren't droppin like flies in Canada for a reason

Ok sure except for a few things

1. It’s not just the vulnerable/elderly/sick that are susceptible to death from this disease, even though that’s what was originally reported. A surprising number of younger/healthy individuals have died or had severe cases of this
2. Death is not the only issue with this disease, there is enough evidence to suggest that even those who recover may have significant neurological consequences for years to come. We are only just beginning to discover these
3. You can be symptom free for up to two weeks OR be an asymptomatic carrier, so if you wait until someone displays symptoms chances are they will have already infected dozens of others before they are quarantined.

I love when people bring up point number 3 as if it makes quarantines a better option.... no that just means even IF everyone abided by quarantines as suggested 20% of affected individuals would be symptom free working and spreading the virus.

We certainly need protections and barriers but this staying at home for months shit is ridiculous. I have no problem with protecting or over sheltering the old/young but aside from masks and persons limitations these at home orders are way overboard.
