I think herd immunity has been needed for a long time.
Quarantine the vulnerable/elderly/sick people. Let everybody else live their lives and if they come down with symptoms, quarantine them too.
Ok sure except for a few things
1. It’s not just the vulnerable/elderly/sick that are susceptible to death from this disease, even though that’s what was originally reported. A surprising number of younger/healthy individuals have died or had severe cases of this
2. Death is not the only issue with this disease, there is enough evidence to suggest that even those who recover may have significant neurological consequences for years to come. We are only just beginning to discover these
3. You can be symptom free for up to two weeks OR be an asymptomatic carrier, so if you wait until someone displays symptoms chances are they will have already infected dozens of others before they are quarantined.
