I can't get over him recommending 3600 ram to EVERYONE then buys 3200.
No m.2 drive, stays with an evo 212. Drops most his money into mobo which
lets be honest will never get a real load in its life.

You folks need to read up on RAM timings.

5% difference. Chances of error or specificity of testing. Then coupled together. I feel like that's something to buy if you have the money. But otherwise minor if at all any noticeable difference.

You realize you can get tighter timings on 3600 ram right?
Like 14-15-15-35... before you try to dial it lower yourself.
Basically same shit and AMD prefers higher frequencies.

Not for the prices of the RAM YOU put in the builds, you can't.

Besides a lot of delivery food... this is what I did with my stimulus check.

Hopefully this will be my last build. I'll get vid card in July. This will also be... me switching to Windows 10.
Instead of doing any gaming for the next 6-8 months, I expect to be tweaking and stripping Windows 10 to the bone.
Likewise I expect to be finding replacements for any programs I currently use, that won't work on Windows 10.

Coming over from the old computer...

2x 2TB Western Digital Black HDDs and an optical drive. For now, I'm also just going to stick with the Cooler Master ATCS 840 case.

I really like this ATCS 840 case. It's 100% aluminum, has drive holders that I like (screwless), and the entire motherboard tray comes out the back, with everything still attached (CPU cooler, vid card etc.)
All the front panel connections are under a spring loaded pop up. Keeps the dust out of the connectors.

That's not what he's putting in the builds though.

The really strange thing, is the fact that you and Art just can't be happy for me. That's something you folk should look into as well. :)

Who said anything about happiness for you?

Don't post if you can't handle criticism you a snowflake?

That ram deal has been around for awhile
And there has been bdie kits forever that can handle cl15 or 16 and 3600 plus
