The original discussion is whether this claw is trophy material or not. The side track discussion is not up for debate. Offhand ias does not stack, if you want to test go for it. You can’t get ias anywhere else, because Griffons must be chammed to avoid being frozen.

You are making up new weird argument. Nobody said off hand ias affects your trap laying speed. Off hand wsm matters the highest degree however aswell as IAS on other gear affects your trap laying speed.
Blue items are not seen as trophies here so there is your answer regarding that claw which has been pointed out already.

u realise u can stash more then 1 griffon right? you only need a cham vs cold.sorces. You can switch ur griff vs fire/lite/physical dmg. Are you using a cham griff vs other sins?

The point is, you’re not going to put ias in your helm to try and hit cap. What are you going to do, not be capped on lay speed Vs cold sorcs and Druids? You need all the ias in Mh.
