I'm currently doing data processing and sample preparation for a new generation of chemo drugs, one of which is going to go to clinical trial next year. (and I've already found us ~50k in yearly savings for the lab, which we will probably use to hire another postdoc next year to do even more cool science stuff! This is the best job ever. I get to manage things, and I get to do science. Best of both worlds!)

My wife just got hired as a clinical coordinator to work on the clinical side for my projects.

So we're both looking at a big ass raise and we make a direct positive impact on humanity.

no. there are court cases, then there are supreme court cases, and then there are supreme court cases that overrule the electoral college. its the difference of a slight step up, a hurdle, and a high jump. here we have someone attempting to high jump that is wheelchair bound.
