Apple is approaching its 200-day moving average at 114. I think strong buying will step in here, usually, this is a really strong area of support. Don't be surprised if it's breached temporarily to try to scare people off and/or trick people who follow technicals. Anyways, I'm buying every 2-3% down regardless.

There are some very big catalysts coming up long and shorter term. VR, 6G, possible car partnership, not to mention when people get that 1400 stimmy a lot will look to upgrade to the 12. Bolded are big cagr growth markets and with a current forward p/e of around 25, Apple is not expensive.

Apple products will continue to be in very high demand IMO. It's hard for me to see how as more people in places like China, India, Indonesia, get to the middle class that somehow demand for Apple's premium products will wane.

This is why I don't pay attention. I have accrued as much in unrealized gains today alone as I did between Feb & March. All my value stocks have been nothing but green.

No. There's a valuable lesson to be learned and I myself have not fully learned it yet. There's a reason that those who do less managing of their portfolio on average have done better than those more involved.

Noise makes you do dumb thing , it also creates irrational fear that makes me glue my eyes to my portfolio 5 times a day.

Also creates irrational exuberance and you end up in a FOMO state.

I'm down less than 1% over the last month because value & my options trading has kept me afloat lol.

Down 20% unrealized loss.

Up 6% realized gains from premium and day trading with said premium.

Hoping to keep lowering my cost basis as the market lowers so I can really take advantage when it recovers. Just gonna have to be careful and not cap my gains with covered calls when that actually happens.

I bought a crap ton today, especially Apple. Listened to Cathie on CNBC and soon, Bloomberg. I have a very hard time disagreeing with her opinion... trying not to be such a mirror but damn.

I remember when I first started investing and would put all my money into a handful of very speculative stocks. Used to hear you have to diversify and I would just discount that as a boomer talk. After losing my ass, I diversified and have been doing fairly well since then.

I keep hearing value vs growth but why can't people create custom portfolios where they can have both simultaneously. I'm doing very well on plays like Disney and Exxon and taking it on the chin on Apple, AMD & others but having both types of investments really creates a nice counterweight so i'm not getting murdered even when tech pulls back like 10%
