whites are items with no magical properties
you can find a well in the catacombs and throw a white item into it and fight a monster
the item will come back with stats on it and usually side drops as well

the well and pond are used for fishing, but the well you can also throw white items into and it will become magical and you get side drops (assuming you can kill the monster that spawns)

Regarding fishing, the well is better if you have a higher fishing proficiency and are catching higher tier fish because it will not drop lower tier fish at the higher levels.

I feel as if you are unclear about the vita. I met a new player that said he read this guide and that's why he built his character. But he had ok ee gear but like 100 vita. He did like no dmg solely cuz he was confused and thought vita was as required as it would be in diablo or such. I told him the better your gear gets the less vita you should go. But he didn't believe me..

This guide is helpful but I feel it's misleading for group climber

Nah. Working full time and been taking college classes at night, so i don't have enough free time to grind out the solo climbs right now

maybe in a few months ill come back if i get bored with D2R, but for now im taking a break from all gaming
