so can someone getting onto your account to level you...

There's a new hack in town: get account access, call Blizzard, say "Hey I lost my cd key but I own this account", blizz confirms cd keys match on your account and victim's account, then resets the latter.

Ok then, why is jsp allowing these automation shops to get into your account and auto level you, or anyone at that matter? so whats the difference if I/we make accounts of sockets and sell the accounts? I feel like this discussion is just going round and round and no one is making any sense of it, the value of a socket account 80fg isn't that much anyways

First question: Probably because they (Kevin + Paul being the only relevant people here) don't know about this.

Second question: If the person you sell to knows your other account, and it was created with same key, you're vulnerable. I'm hoping (have not gotten any more information) that they actually need your other acc name and can't just ask blizzard for that info. Even for blizzard, that's a bit dumb.
