Assume 100,000 users all have 70kb sig, that equates to 7gb
100,000 users with 150kb sig we are at 15gb
Are you going to look at 100,000 signatures a day? Most likely not but over a month of time even a few measly kilobytes add up and would slow things down. But to be fair I have no horse in this race either way, so my opinion is useless.

E: it’s not just about the end user data, but the website performance as well

to add another, here is a user who has a total profile size of about.. 23 MB (here id like to stress that 23 MB = 23000 KB which would equal about 153 users who all

(the profile gif alone has a size of 18 MB. i have reported that profile to several different staff group members
and they still havent done anything about it. when No's mainly come from them, i expect them to take action
against such violations immediately since increasing size of things is a big taboo / mistake - according to their posts / arguments in this suggestion. but no, users are free to walk around
with these oversized profiles while when someone is making a suggestion to allow a few more kilobytes (!) for user signatures, some responsible staff group members are
against it because they eat up "so much" data volume of users. your reasoning here is a contradiction to your responsibilities and rules in my opinion - i honestly cannot understand your dislike for this suggestion~)

The profile is definitely OK and it represent what is this forums about.

ViperClaws profile is his game, diablo 2 and so, its his game profile. I like it, nice pictures profile.

There is no restrictions in rules about profile size, and never will be.

I created my profile same, true that when im bit good at photoshop and apng animation, i allways try to compress every final image by ~50% before i upload at imgur.

But User Profile was and allways will be the First and Best benefit of every Member of d2jsp.

This suggestion is About increasing 70kb -> 150kb Signatures of Members or Customers ...

I feel like you should remake this with a simple yes and no, and let JSP decide how they want to implement it.

Won't hurt the servers, as images are hosted externally, and users on a tight data plan likely have them disabled anyway: voting yes.

Yes I just posted 3 site suggestions myself relating to outdated ways of doing things on here check them out as well. I also think 70 kb is ridiculous xD and if JSP needs to justify bigger sig and avatar sizes by only allowing verified and paid users (which wasn't one of the options) to have larger Sig/Avatar sizes then I think it's a great idea for both users and JSP owners.

Everyone who voted No is bitter that blizzard banned Mousepad's Maphack and are still living in 2003.

Thats i also added option for first star donor or only verified users so some another Grants for Kevin and forums..and still ppl have say no.

Its because they have to say no,
that ppl even dont use signatures said Themselfs, so rather than dont vote, they voted No ^^ imo this is not nice and good manner. They can vote and say whatever they want ofc,
just i say they showed this suggestion isnt for them but anyways they had to click No.. because Thats how we doin.

Also, restrictions on profile would be same as restrictions on topics, that case would make all Graphic design posts limited.
