So im reading up on some startling stories of how infidelity is normalized at bachelor and bachelorette parties. How common is this in your area and say with your circle of friends? Whats worse is the rate at which people who are already in an established relationship engage in such debauchery. Perhaps this lack of faithfulness is why so many marriages end poorly 🧐

No one, and no one I know has engaged in infidelity at a bachelor party for either myself or my friends. Can't speak to bachelorette parties tho.

According to Men's Health magazine, two out of three people cheat on their future partner on party night.

per the article this is the person who is due to be married cheating at a rate of 67% at their bachelor/ette party. that seems quite high

i don't know of anyone who was due to be married (ie: it was their bachelor) party who stepped out during said event.

Do you count vigorous stripper activity with no penetration from the male?

I think this question entirely depends on how interactions with adult performers are classified. I don't know anyone who engaged in anything other than that.

Maybe one guy... but i'm not sure.

You look with your eyes and that's it.

If you can't do this you have no business entering a relationship.

Unless you and your parter are ok with 3rd party adventures of course.

You don't need an excuse to be a slimy person, just be slimy if you are.

Never heard of this happening with anyone. Also never had strippers at a bachelor party, nor heard of female friends who had a stripper at their bachelorette party. Not really a thing here. Bachelor(ette) parties are more about hanging out with friends, not about "testing the relationship", which is complete bullshit anyway.

Also, plenty of people I know aren't that interested in getting married anyway. The financial benefits can be had with a civil partnership, and there is no religious value for many people.

It is what it is. I'm not a big fan of the stripper game, but it's going to be involved in ALOT of these parties for both sex.

I'd be very interested to know how it's defined and classified in that link you provided. Probably accounts for a ton of "yes they cheated" data points.

Last bachelor party i was at, the groom put a glow stick in his mouth and inserted said glow stick into the stripper. Would that count as cheating?

That statistic (2/3) seems off to me, but I guess it could depend upon how they define infidelity.

I've been to about 4-5 bachelor parties, haven't witnessed any infidelity. Mainly just drinking, eating, and telling stories of old.

This. Research on infidelity has always been tricky because there's not a well-defined, universal definition for what constitutes as "cheating".
