Just exploring different things on d2 and I came cross crafting wands.

Caster Weapon Magic Normal/Exceptional/Elite Rod**
Tir Rune
Perfect Amethyst
Any Jewel
Increase Maximum Mana (1-5)%
Regenerate Mana (4-10)%
+ (10-20) To Mana

*Note: Rods are Scepters, Wands, and Staves

I was thinking of a wand for necro with these similar mods +pnb/spear or spirit

+2 pnb is a 100% no, would be over 30.

obviously you wouldn't need really many other mods, but you're limited to like 2-3 mods anyways, and low ilvl mods at that. so no 20 fcr, no high mana, etc.

you may be able to get like a 1 pnb / 10 fcr lvl 30 req wand. but even to get incmana/repmana/mana perf rolls its worse than a plain 2 pnb/20fcr/2 os magic wand with 3 bs

im also not sure how automods are factored into crafts, if the base automod makes the "base" in the crafting formula equal to the rlvl of the skill you're boned on getting bone spirit. bone spear might be possible.

and bone spirit is better by all accounts.

overall crafted weapons just cant work for lld, even in hld only crafted zerk axes are ok. and still inferior.

I once had a +dex/10%def safety jav on my barb, but it was only for screenshots.

Best you can hope for at lvl 30 is 10 fcr 3 spear

You can see why it’s a bad idea right? Check the crafting guide for the calculator to see what affixes can spawn at what level

Thanks wanst sure what the ratio for the spawn was for 2pnb or spirits I figured spears would be possible for 18s and 30s.
