Cooks to the Texans for 2nd round pick.. Texans even drafting this year?

#40 overall in the second round if David Johnson can pass his physical.
If not that DeAndre Hopkins trade will have to be altered in some way.
I'd rather have Arizona's first-round pick in 2021. It's a pipe dream though.

Maybe it'd just be easier to root for a different team

If I did that I'd become a Dallas Cowboys fan again. Which I was from 1997 to 2001 when Houston had no NFL team.

The Rams are spending $74M so they can have Jared Goff & not have Todd Gurley & Brandin Cooks on their roster.

They're eating $38M in dead cap between Gurley ($20.2M) & Cooks ($17.8M).

And they are spending a $36M cap hit on Goff (#1 most in NFL).

Look at that tweet! Oh my goodness. And people make fun of Bill O'Brien's poor general manager skills.
I realize the Texans aren't a well ran organization but the Rams went from Super Bowl to rebuilding fast.

The Rams still have one of the all-time greats in Aaron Donald but that dead cap space is hard to ignore.
The NFL Network mentioned the Rams will be spending nearly 30 % of their 2020 payroll on ex players.

I'm not making fun of the Rams though. The Texans will probably be in that exact situation in a few years.

Excluding the drafting process, I can't remember a worse offseason performance from a GM than O'Brien over the last couple years.

I'm always worried that Bill O'Brien did something else to set the franchise back. I feel anxious and nervous when I see some new Houston Texans news. A thunderstorm knocked off my cable and Internet at 8 p.m. last night. And I just got it up and running at nearly 11 a.m. this morning. I played some Diablo 2 single player for some nostalgia and no lag. No Plugy though. I should check that out one day. People keep telling me to try it.

Single player without plugy is a big why-bother for me. And even then I still get bored quick.

I reached level 15 and was still saving Cain in Tristram. Setting the players to 8 is too much experience even though it's tougher with a low level Amazon. I found the Hotspur boots from Blood Raven! I'm already OP vs. fire damage. I'm going to try Plugy for the first time later this evening if I can figure out how to configure everything. I'm watching a YouTube tutorial on how to install it with the proper files.

I had missed this funny segment on First Take this morning. I'm trying to remain hopeful about Bill O'Brien but it's difficult.

Carolina’s Christian McCaffrey is signing a four-year extension, averaging $16 million per year, making him the highest-paid running back in NFL history, sources tell ESPN.
