What armor is generally better for pvm?

new ladder = stealth > smoke > vmagi > tals armor

that's what I do. self make stealth and smoke while levling/gearing, buy a cheap vmagi once prices drop. multi pc Tals build once price on that drops. i dont bother with enigma for a ladder char until they're dirt cheap, but that's just me.

non ladder = enigma all day

Viper

Both are good. Skullders is better for a new sorc because it provides a ton of mf in one gear slot. Viper is better once you are geared because you can have shako, travs, rings, and gheeds to provide mf.

Right now I have 174mf with viper and a gull on switch for 274mf.. is that enough to run vipermagi?

Well for one, Ormus wasn’t one of the options. When someone asks x vs x it probably means those are the two items he owns and thus the two items he can choose from atm. Assuming everyone is stupid because they don’t agree with you is an insanely bad look on you btw!!

That doesn't bother sng. When someone asks botdz or lw, people answer grief, because they know it's better than botd and lw
If people answer viper it means they either don't see how ormus is twice as good, or they forgot about ormus despite it being the first word of the first reply
