I would say areas like frozen river, and worldstone keep were the epitome of Diablo gaming. Take a wrong teleport or be wreckless, and get wrecked.

I still play d2HC on resets twice a year, and i agree that Act 5 added a lot of risk to the normal teleport around method.

And you better get used to the "casual, softcore" opinion. D4 is going to console. The game will be heavily influenced by that fact.

That's what I am afraid of. The average player thinks that gathering tons of mobs and not dodging is fun, but for a hardcore player it is absolutely dumb. Skipping mobs and standing in the center of a million mobs is a hardcore player's worst nightmare in challenging content.
I'm also afraid that there's going to be a necessity for the zdps/bitch role again because of this gathering mobs play style. Can't do the content alone and progresses slower than everyone else.
