Source: https://www.notebookcheck.net/Unconfirmed-Diablo-IV-details-spotted-in-4-month-old-leak-full-class-roster-revealed.442665.0.html

Let’s get straight to the unconfirmed details and don’t forget to keep some of that tasty salt handy:

- Some of the features from Diablo III including the Kunai Cube, wardrobe loadouts, seasonal journeys, Rifts/G-Rifts could make a comeback
- In contrast, Blizzard took all the fan critique in regards to Diablo III’s mistakes very seriously and modified some key aspects accordingly
- The new soundtrack is supposed to pay homage to the Diablo 1 and 2 OSTs
- Diablo II Remake/Remaster was an option at some point, but Blizzard realized that the franchise actually needs a reboot that would combine the best features from Diablo 2 with modern mechanics
- The combat system focuses on combos and is designed to be console-friendly
- Tristram was one of the hub cities in the early preview
- In addition to Barbarian, Sorcerer and Druid, Blizzard plans to include Paladin and Amazon as part of the starting class roster. Necromancer is planned for the first expansion.
- Closed beta is planned for 2020
- Depending on how things go with the closed beta, launch could happen in late 2020 or early 2021

Looks to me as if they had began a D2 remaster, but then decided to turn it into Diablo IV.
I'm completely OK with this. Sounds amazing.
Let's hope it's real.

Lets fucking hope not.....atleast not in any serious capacity.

Rifts are boring as fuck when that's all you can do. They need to mix it up with Boss fights, Epic confrontations, high density farming areas like the pits/chaos sanctuary, crafting.

You should have a ton of different options to get great items.

I notice that they are definitely taking on many of the aspects that were successful PvE wise, from Guild Wars 2.

We'll be seeing a lot of what you had just mentioned in MMORPG styled maps with dynamic events, as well as instanced dungeons.

Going the MMORPG blended route is going to be tricky. Could be really freaking awesome, but it could be a big dud...

This game needs GREAT itemization. That's what Diablo is all about. They need to really diversify the way people can get high end items.

People who like to craft should be able to craft great items (I, for one, hate crafting)
People who like to boss run should be able to get great items smashing act bosses and epic confrontation monsters (I'd love this)
People who like to clear trash mobs and elite run should be able to get great items (Like Pits, unique pack running in D3, ETC)

Gambling, crafting, trading, Boss running, etc etc etc. Let us pick and choose how we want to gear our toons.

High density farming is cancerous and retarded.

The true goal would be to make every mob encounter dangerous to where I don't feel like I need to gather 200 of them and stand in the middle of them until they die like in Diablo 3. Pits and Chaos were not high density, just more dangerous monsters.

lol, the pit and chaos didn't have dangerous monsters (aside from LDS)..... They had the right TC and mob density.

I don't want Anything like Diablo 3 in terms of itemization or item generation, but that's the beauty of letting people chose what they want to do to farm.

You don't like mob running, so do something else.
