That would be really appreciated, to eliminate afk and fake offers. Also meeting a lot of scammers recently. Reporting roughly 1 scammer a day, but not really sure if GGG cares about this.

yeees, would be a good thing for everyone ! also to eliminate mistakes like accidentally putting a headhunter for 180c instead of 180ex, maybee when you are online add something like "someone wants to buy your item for listed price, yes or no?", which would basically eliminate the chance of someone sniping your item altogether! i mean if you underpriced something hard, you would get like 50 messages immediately (while you are still online), and you would know immediately !

but then again its ggg, so this probably wont be implemented but if they dont fix trade, i think (and hope) the game will die like myspace did 10 years ago

my prediction:

- radical changes (I mean in terms of gameplay and the core game, new engine has alrdy been confirmed), sort of a semi -'reboot' of poe. why? cause it's getting old and stale, they know it needs a real shake-up.
- an auction house disguised as something that fits a little better into the game atmosphere instead of sticking out like a sort thumb, but only for currency type items (even that is questionable though since chris seems to think that the way to go is mega loot drops + super inconvenient trading, which is a shame, I would love AH + drastically reduced drops like old times so things actually worth a shit -> more longevity of league and a lot of trading woes fixed, bam easy done).

if all the above is just wishful thinking, then I guess just more efficient engine which is usually accompanied by graphic improvements, probs improved character models, animations, etc. altered passive tree. 2 new classes. more new zones, items, skills... just adding more bloat( in a way) but not removing much, if any at all (although they should, at this point).
I think if 4.0 does not bring really dramatic changes, poe will keep declining. while wow classic will keep thriving, with every new phase release.
