Republicans used reverse psychology on Donnie Dipshit and now the troops are back in Syria to "secure the oil"

This is hilarious.

why would they? you might not be able to distinguish between kurds and oilfields, but 'liberals' are...

ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is believed to have been killed in a US military raid, two sources say. Final confirmation is still pending.

you can't possibly be that naive. inaction would have been 'tolerable', but that's not what america did.

you created the power vacuum that lead to the forming of ISIS, you toppled regimes and invaded countries based on lies. you are very much directly responsible for this mess, while now pretending it's none of your business (except the oil of course, you don't mind sending your boys and girls to 'protect' that), just because one draft dodging cunt told you so.

you close your borders while the rest of the world has to deal with the crises you created. if anything, you should be paying us - but i'm not surprised that ppl who have been brainwashed with simplistic 'america good, we protect the world' narratives their entire lives simply can't see that, if they haven't learned to think critically and question their ruling class' motivation...

Turkish, Syrian, Iraqi, and Iranian oppression of the Kurdish people did not start as a result of American intervention. You make yourself sound completely uneducated when you rattle off random anti-American talking points.

If this oppression is intolerable, by all means, put German lives on the line to prevent it. But we know this won't happen, the Germans aren't used to spending money and lives, they've been coddled and protected by others for nearly a century.

you should really educate yourself regarding the situation prior to their fight against ISIS in that region before you try to lecture people who actually have a clue. moving the goal post will not make this blunder any better, especially considering that your 'non-interventionist' emperor has no problem sending troops to protect oil, but not the allies that have been the most reliable in defeating the terrorist organisation america created.

Not to be rude, but I'm clearly more familiar with Middle Eastern affairs.

Was Saddam an ally of the Kurds? Assad? The Kurdish question predates American involvement in the region.

you can't possibly be naive enough to think that's a valid argument for trump's decision to sell out the kurds?!

ok, time for the crayons: you can't shoot an amputee in the head and then say 'he had physical problems before i got involved, so why would you blame ME for it?' - especially if that amputee helped you catch the rabid dog that you released.

so please stop making such ridiculous excuses while pretending to have even the slightest clue to begin with.

Special thanks from Assad, Poutine, and Erdogan for the territories and influence...
