I do all these 3x5 they’re all stalled for about a month, including 1-2 10% load drops.
I have been barely eating, just about maintenance or less, smashing a pack of darts a day, and binge drinking 8-9 days of the week.

But deadlift started 120, now it’s at 185, and I’m only training it once to twice a week, and only doing 1x5 does my body just not like the volume of 3 sets?

Not sure if you’re trying to brag about smoking and drinking or wanting advice.

Try cutting out the smoking and drinking then eat more 🙃

What are your thoughts on swapping my 3x5 squat to 1x5? Maybe do some GHR and lunges as accessories on squat day, 1x5 deadlift is working really well

Any proof you can deadlift 185?

Your squat is driving your deadlift progress, its extremely common for programs to have much more squatting than deadlifting, deadlifting is the most simple movement out of the three

You need to get better at squatting, you do so by training the movement. Reducing your squat volume will detriment you. I would increase it

I dont know what program you are doing but id make sure i am squatting 2 x a week

edit: by deadlifting 2 x a week, you could actually be hurting your squat progress

What about doing a heavy 1x5 that increases linearly then 2 10% backoff sets of 2x5? Or maybe a bigger decrease and do sets of 8?

Maybe too much deadlifting I’m just going every other day and alternating squat and deadlift at the beginning of the day

E/ just doing starting strength, but rather do 1x5 deadlift every other day than squat 3x5 every session. Just getting tired of doing 3x5 squats at 9-9.5 RPE
