The life of an accountant seems alright considering it’s a safe industry to be employed, but you live around cycles of bullshit overtime and it drains you.

Ten years is a long time to be miserable. Plus, you really think that’s sustainable retirement? What would you take in a year off retirement? 20k/year?

a 100k salary is hard to comprehend when you currently flip burgers

You can buy a house in Netherlands (limburg) for 100-150k

Then you modify it in 2 apartments and rent the apartment to tenant for 500-600 euro a month. Your tenant is basically paying your mortgage.

Or you buy a bigger house and turn it into multiple apartments.

Easy.

On the side you'll learn how to invest or buy multiple houses.

Food is really cheap in Netherlands compared to other countries.

Real estate plays are worth.
