Hi guys,

I was thinking about notification update.

This is all about receivinga notification when the "specific word notification" is enable in a specific subforum

For example below: I receive a notification because a topic has been created by Lynerau with the words "Perfect Torch" in Softcore Europe Ladder Trading - I did enable to send me notification when those words (perfect torch) are present in a topic title creation in Softcore Europe Ladder Trading

This could be usefull in my opinion in many cases
This could create a server Load / traffic Issue

I'm not competent when it comes to server discussion, so i don't know if this is achievable without too much issues

Let me know what you think

I would use even as a paid feature.
5fg for up to 3 keywords for 4 hours - rough example.

Interesting idea. Could be useful to "flag" certain key words in order to be more informed about what happens outside the S/A forum. Perhaps these "flags" could be distinguished from ordinary notifications by using a different font/size? As for possible traffic problems, perhaps the way to find out would be just trying it out :)

Yes from me.

I totally agree with you on the words part

That's something i thought also before posting that suggestion:

I'm working on another about topic titles, i'll explain myself a little bit further :

Lets take a diablo 2 trading forum for example
For now we all use the research feature when we are looking for something
We try many way of writing and we find what we are looking for, sometimes we don't, most of the time.

I was thinking of suggesting adding either :

- a drop down list with specifics items
- a list with base items with a check box (would be to big imo)
- Multiple drop down list which adapt to the stats you check (check rare rings->check box list or drop down list adapts to rare ring stats etc.)

That could be added when you make an FT or ISO thread, being able to check some preset items stats/caracteristics, like some of us do with adding at the end of their thread some keywords.

That way it become easier to find what you are looking for

We have filters yes in some trading forums, that could be an upgrade on that feature too :)

Hope i was clear enough
