Voted yes. Would help trading quite a bit.

I also really like the idea of the drop down menu when creating a topic. It wouldn’t have to be required, but could be used if wanted. Some might say that it will get spammed with stuff that doesn’t belong in a certain subgroup, but I think the forum will regulate itself.
This happens for example in the trophy room for D2. There is an occasional spam, but for the most part people use it for its intended purpose. I think the drop down menu with subcategories would function in the same manner.

So end result is to have possibly 20+ people being notified of an item being posted.
Making it a sellers market so to speak, increasing odds of bidding wars?

Honestly the search feature works, its free and like other stated you can try a few times with different phases.
No point being notified if you ain't there to respond and if you are there you can simply search it.

/edit
going to null my vote on this.

Really appreciate the feedback from long time users :)

Well i got your point, but that wouldn't be mandatory, as notification system works for now ?

That's all about notifications, sometimes i receive one and i come online to solve/answer issue/PMs. This is a way not to miss an item, but that's only for trading subforums, dont you think it could be helpful in many others subforums ?

Also to counter myself, that reduced the "searching time" which some users, like i do, like

I feel personally like were trying to make things more simple, more so then they already are and thus make things more difficult in the process.
Could be wrong, it could be a hit, idk tbh, that is why I null'd.

this could create a server load/traffic issue which would probably affect ladder slasher and cause more game issues. NO from me
