World leaders being influential is the norm. They only deserve the recognition when they've done something special.
Perhaps "influence" should be replaced with "induce a paradigm shift".

Couple things...

3. IF Greta was all about climate change, she should have gone after India and China. AND her message should NOT have had an underlying socialist rant.
4. This girl accomplished absolutely nothing. She deserves no respect for being abused by her parents. A little sympathy, maybe.

If you seriously believe that Greta accomplished "absolutely nothing", you're delusional. I'm not a fan of her, and of hysteric approaches to climate change in general, but she still had a huge impact. Millions participated in the protests that she sparked, governments are adopting more aggressive climate policies because of the pressure from the movement she started. The impact is undeniable, irrespective from my own perspective (which is that the majority of the climate action her movement induced is going in the wrong direction).

Boyan is awesome, but his plan is far from ready for action.
