Not really. It's up to interpretation what counts as a religion since its not defined in the constitution and generally the executive has made that determination along with what races and classes exist such as on the census.

If Congress passed a law listing religions that are federally acknowledged it might change that though, but it also depends on what the scope of the change is. He obviously cant force courts and Congress to exclusively use their definition or list.

People buy outrage and fear that's why the media peddles it. Leaving very few leftover who are interested in reasonable solutions to fixable problems

Time magazine also named Hitler, Stalin, King Faisal of Saudi Arabia, Ruhollah Khomeini, Newt Gingrich, Jeff Bezos, George W. Bush and Vladimir Putin person of the year. This award has always been for the most influencial person of the year, not the most noble or positive one.
I agree, however, that their choices have been left-leaning in recent years. (Except for 2016, when they had no other choice but to name Trump person of the year because his rise to power was the biggest story of the year by far.)
