tl;dr: Philly police went to serve a drug warrant in the hood and shit hole of north Philly, dude started shooting them and a few of the officers got stuck inside of the house for 8 hours in a gun fight that eventually involved pretty much every police offer in the city. All in all, six officers were shot, none died though, and the suspect eventually gave up and was arrested alive and well (and yes - he's black).

What they fail to mention in the article is how the community in that area of hoodrat scum almost started a riot as they laughed and yelled at police as they walked through the street during and after the shootout...
