What do you guys think the ratio will be for FG:G

My guess is somewhere around 1 gold = 15-20 FG early on if not more, and then slowly lower down as people get to 60.

I think that ratio would be incredibly high for 1-4 weeks, like 1gold vs 200+ fg
but then, of course it would drop

1 gold vs 200+ fg sounds almost too high, but I wouldn't be surprised.

Just look at Path of Exile. The first day, even low currency sells for high amount of FG.
Same with D2 fresh ladder.

I torn about this, some part of me would love to sell gold for forum gold, but I would prefer most of all, that there was no third party whatsoever.

Friend and myself were discussing this and he was saying back when it was the start of WOTLK he was buying gold at 1fg:2gold

e/ might of been at the end of TBC but roughly that time.

1 gold is pretty big amout for classic till lvl 30+
and everyone need that gold to buy skills/ weapon upgrares at vendors
so paying 200fg for learning 3-4 extra skills and buying 1 extra weapon doesnt seem too high
it could save you few hours (speaking about white arbalest from stormwind for hunters for example)

Plus it's hard to earn 80 gold by level 40 for a mount and EVERYONE wants a mount at level 40

First days? Probably 1 Gold 500 fg, after 1/2 months with some lvls 60s farming things/Mara runs 1 Gold 20 fg, it is very difficult to predict because almost nobody is going to sell gold the first month

1g = 80-100 fg. itll settle around here.

first couple of weeks 1g = 300 fg+ but like arch said. Doubt noone will be selling too much in the start because you need gold to become efficient enough to farm gold.
