War isn't an easy choice this time around. Yes USA would ultimately prevail vs Iran but that would require a serious mobilization and war effort i.e. It is a war not an "operation". Talks of limited strikes and no boots on ground are silly and underestimate Iranian capabilities and resolve. And after all said and done, such a war could very well leave USA in worse spot geopolitically vs other powers.
To resolve this diplomatically one side has to back down, and I don't think it will be Iran to do that for so many reasons, despite the sanctions.
If Trump elected 2020 and this is still not resolved, then the prospects of war either intentional or accidental go up significantly.
