The beginning shit doesn't last. Just find a 2-handed weapon to use until you're level 20+ or when you have enough ammo. Ammo has weight until you get the perk cards to reduce it. You have to stick to one weapon build in order to get the maximum damage at level 50. You have to go all pistol, all rifles, all shotgun, all melee, or etc.

You don't want to use automatic weapons until you got the ammo for it. Ammo is very expensive to buy even at 1 cap per bullet. You have to find it or make them yourself. You can ask a high level player to give you .38 bullets. Some people are hoarding 5k+ .38 bullets.

what kind of build your thinking to make?

if want i can craft some weapons, and trow shitloads of 10mm ammo or 5mm etc what i have a lot

i got a nice modifyd bat 58+2 damage and an automatic .38 but yeah using the bat for now, kinda low on bullets

i got help to build a nice house, had fresh water, plants growing, workstations everything
was told its gone each time enter world but when i put down my CAMP again, all stuff was gone, did i do something wrong?

If someone has a camp nears your camp, it gives you the option to stay in the world or go to another world with your camp placement.

was just me impatient and server lagg, got new camp now, kinda slow leveling tho, only 16 atm

For beginners in recommend a melee build.
Pro: Easy maintance (no ammo), easy best dmg in game (with the right perks and playstyle) No hard weapons reqs.

Cons:Pretty annoying against flying enemies (or you skill a "hybrid" Melee. Then you dont have any cons imo)

i take alot of damage tho from shooting enemies, but gotta improve on my dodge skills i guess
i did came across some level 48-52s or whatever that was shooting rockets at me, how do melee builds do against those enemies?
