Sprint in at meleerange and attack them. The npcs arent so smart. I also advice to put at least 1 point in blocker while lvling progress. Also a Power Armor helps a lot while lvling. Even if you dont plan to use it in the endgame.

any tips on a good melee weapon for level 16-20? im 16 atm but maybe at 20 i can change from my level 5 upgraded bat

Any 2h or 1h will do it. Just remember more Str = more dmg. Try to get a lvl 15 Raider Pa or wait for lvl 25 Excavator. Makes life easier.

gonna make a war drum lvl 15 and modify it, need to find x5 tin cans tho, i bet i found alot of those but scrapped them all reeeeeee

so i got 3 points in Perception already but dont have the cards that u got in ur build, are everything ruined now or how can i get these cards without putting more points into perception
i would also love to have max picklock / hacker to switch for when i need to, but idk if this works.

Nah everything is fine . When you get lvl up, you can choose a special point to increase, after that you can switch the cards you choose with "C"or "Z". You will unlock more cards, higher your lvl.
