Iran is one country with a population of 81.16 million, islam is a faith of 1.6 billion across near every country on earth.
Your own article explains why this persecution happens, islam is not the reason.

I did read it, they are not being persecuted because of anything to do with islam, they are being persecuted because christians are considered a threat to the POWER OF THE DICTATORS RULING IRAN.

I am sticking up for islam in this case, nothing i said is wrong, most muslims have no issue with christianity, the quran has no issue with christianity.
I have never stuck up for ANY atrocity, no idea where you get these weird thoughts from.
